General characteristics

Permanent acrylic water based adhesive. Specially developed for synthetic face materials due to its excellent clarity. Good adhesion to non-polar surfaces. 

The research centre ISEGA has given the adhesive PF-1 approval according to the European requirements for direct contact with dry, moist and such kind of fatty foodstuffs which have a reduction factor of at least 3 according to the Regulation (EU) Nº10/2011. Approved for UNI-EN 71/3 "toys security" norms and conformed to the FDA, 21 CFR Ch.I (April 1, 2013 edition) 175.105.

Not recommended for fan-folding applications.

Uses and applications

General all purpose plastic film. Completely recyclable together with compatible plastic products such as polyethylene or polypropylene containers. Top Coating ensures excellent printing results with all conventional printing systems. Suited to hot stamping print techniques (information on compatible inks and printing techniques available on request).  Not recommended for fan-folding applications.

Shelf life

2 years, under storage conditions as defined by FINAT section 2.5 (20-25ºC, 40-50% RH). Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life of the product.
